Pest Ban
I began this relationship when I inherited PestBan’s termite coverage when I purchased my home in 2021. They have been a decent provider but their annual price increase like elsewhere continues to increase. They are pleasant to deal with but then when doing my annual inspection this past week things changed. The technician backed his truck into our driveway and while baiting stations, my wife returned from shopping and parked in front oh him thus blocking his exit! After the technician finished, rather than walk to our door to request we move her car so he could get out, he just proceeded to drive across our front lawn around my wife’s car. Not just off the edge of the driveway slightly, but all four wheels ACROSS the front lawn where all of our sprinkler controls are buried. I contacted the company and they said, “I will have his manager call you’’. After not hearing from the manager the next day as promised, I sent an additional email to the customer service address and received the following response: “we have put a note in the technicians file. Let us know if there is anything else we can do!” For a company that promotes their “excellent “ customer service, wouldn’t you think they would follow through with a call? DROVE HIS TRUCK ACROSS OUR FRONT LAWN! And what shows up yesterday? A text asking for a Google Review. Well.ok , here you go! I tried to handle this directly but....

I’ve been with Peachtree since I purchased my house in 2006. My service has been consistently excellent with minimal problems with pests. Whenever I have had an issue with termites, ants, or yellow jackets and hornets, Peachtree’s response has been very quick and effective. They have given top notch service, and I have never had a reason to even think about changing my pest control company. Most recently George came out and took care of a nest of hornets that had taken up residence in one of the bushes next to my house. Superb communication and response.

I inherited your company when you bought out my old company. I have a real small studio apartment in my barn. I’m letting a homeless gentleman stay rent free for now. I ask the rep from your company to take 5 minutes and spray around the baseboard. He emphatically said no way that’s and office decision. My previous pest control company would have said no problem. I need a mom pop company not a huge corporate pest control company. I’m looking for a new company.

We’ve been a customer since 2008. Their system works exceptionally well and we have only had two or three times since then that we’ve had to call them to come back out and treat something. Once, we spilled a cup of sweet tea at our back door and some sugar ants came in thru a crack in the weather stripping. They came out and applied some gel that was pet safe (not that our dog or cat would be able to step in it because it was a TINY amount) and the ants were gone in a couple of hours. The second time we had a bout with some black widows near our garage doors. They then had their tech begin to spray those areas on a regular basis but we haven’t seen any since. The bottom line is they are responsive. Their techs are respectful, unobtrusive and listen. If you call the office they convey to the techs for you if you can’t be home. I highly recommend this company to anyone!

Peachtree and our tech, Jamar, have been great! They call in advance and update if anything changes (rain). I like having the same tech each time as he’s gotten to know our house needs. Efficient, thorough, and all around great service!

I asked several times to be called/text when the tech is on the way. One technician had a remarkably hard time with this. Also, he left my house last visit without spraying the inside or asking if I wanted the inside serviced. I always have my inside serviced but this was only an issue with him. Someone (other than him) was supposed to come out a week later to spray the inside and that never happened. I just recommend using another provider.

Pest ban is for the birds. The company has a built in system that comes highly recommended by DR Horton building company. They are horrible. I have a security camera and often they would bill me for service they never came out to render. The ants and spider seems to want to take over my house. Several times I had to call them to send someone to come help exterminate the ants and spiders. Finally after almost two years of bad to worst service I called to cancel my account. With no explanation or alert they came and removed the termite box they bore a hole in my yard to place, leaving several gaping holes on my yard. They did not even have the courtesy to fill the holes with dirt. I do not recommend this company if you want to be treated as a valued customer. I do not recommend this company if you want your house treated for insects. Horrible! Horrible! Just horrible
